ZEYTIN: “Zeytin” is a Turkish word, and it means olive. The olive tree, branches and fruit are symbols of peace.This restaurant is an exotic newcomer to the Grand Rapids dining scene.the location of Zeytin is in a strip mall across from the Alticor headquarters. This mix of class carries through to the interior as well. The inside is gorgeously decorated with booths and Turkish pillows and rugs. The lighting is calming and seating is open. On the backwall, there is a nice looking bar with two thin-screen TVs flanking it. As if to display the full Turkish experience,the TVs displayed a Turkish soccer match and soap opera.
