Finally,I thought we don't have to go all the way to Flint to get an authentic Flint style Coney Island. WRONG, the Dog House does not even come close. In fact they may have even damaged Flints famous Coney Island reputation. If the owner would drive to Flint and order a Flint style hot dog at the Valley Coney Island near the Genesee Valley he would know what a real Flint style Coney dog is. However, It's easy for him to fix. All he has to do is add lots of sauce and loads of finely chopped onions and steam the bun instead of a teaspoon of sauce and a tiny dash of onions. It's that simple but oh what a difference. I am always a sucker for hot dogs and really love the all beef variety. Lots of choices with different toppings, fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Its worth navigating the construction to get there.
